Courthauld Investments (BVI) Pte Ltd is a European leveraged investment vehicle for certified HNWI members. Through Courthauld Access Funds I, II and III, we provide funding, advice and operational support to bridge the gap between starting-up and venture capital.

Early stage capital of up to £250,000, strategic, financial and operational support is provided to our young companies competing in the digital media, media technology and software sectors principally in the Eurozone. Our members can bring significant non-financial leverage to bear in support of our investee companies.

We typically invest in businesses with promising economic models, defensible market positions, scalable concepts with excellent growth potential and where we can add exceptional value through our expertise and contacts. We like to be the first investors in promising businesses.

We like to begin our dialogue with entrepreneurs on the following topics:

1. How will the business make money?

2. Is there potential to provide a 30 percent annual return on investment?

3. Who is behind it?

4. Who is the customer and what evidence is there that they will buy?

5. Do you have customers yet?

6. What is unique about your concept (e.g. cost structure, technology, product features, barriers to entry, etc.)?

7. What skills, resources and relationships does your team currently possess?

8. What follow-on opportunities exist for this business?

9. Are there any special regulatory requirements?

10. What are the potential problems or disasters that could occur?
